Today, we have witnessed the proliferation of new medical technologies that will radically change how we think about managing our health. The healthcare is going through radical changes due to new regulations, new systems and new hardware and software. Co-Founder at zPark Venture

Larry Li is the founding Partner at zPark Venture, which is a venture fund focusing on early stage start-ups. Their areas of interest include mobile, gaming, internet, security, big data and healthcare IT etc.  Founded in 2012, zPark Venture helps innovative entrepreneurs with global vision. Larry Li is a Seasoned Entrepreneur, an Angel Investor, a US Patent Holder and a Technologist in Mobile app and Cloud Computing. Larry has outstanding experiences in Management, Business, and Investment, in building start-up teams from ground up, in vesting in earlier stage start-ups and managing projects among teams in US, China and India.


Sean Chai


Director, Innovation Advanced Technology, Kaiser Permanente

How might digital services of the future become more meaningful, accessible, and actionable to people anywhere, anytime? As the Director of Innovation Technology Services at Kaiser Permanente (KP), Sean’s focus is to identify and evaluate new and emerging technologies and engagement models that have the potential to advance Kaiser Permanente's service and care. Sean leads a group of technology consultants who are passionate about building a culture of innovation and translating the relevance of emerging technology to existing services and new competitive advantages.

• Disciplined and high energy management professional with experiences in building and leading technology, innovation and business solutions teams for: start-ups and fortune 500s; health technology and high reliability organizations; business service and managed infrastructure service companies. 

• Launched and led Kaiser Permanente's Innovation Labs and Mobility Innovation Labs Programs. Served as the Innovation technology leader for the Sidney R. Garfield Health Care Innovation Center, one of the world’s largest health innovation centers dedicated in advancing health and care delivery in the United States.


Dongyang Zhang


Medical Scientist

Dongyang is a medical scientist who graduated from the combined MD/PhD Medical Scientist Training Program at Washington University School of Medicine. His interests are in advancing health and medicine through the pursuit of science and technology. Specifically, he likes to work at the interface of medicine, computer science/engineering, and systems/computational neuroscience.

Dongyang previously worked at IBM's Watson for Healthcare. Watson is a natural language processing engine, famous for its competitive winnings on Jeopardy! Subsequent to these televised victories, Watson is being put to good use in real world applications, with a primary focus on healthcare and clinical medicine.

Bryant Lin

Professor of Medicine and Co-Director of the Syncope Center, Stanford University

  Clinician, researcher, inventor and entrepreneur, Bryant Lin, MD, MEng lives at the intersection of medicine, engineering and business.  He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stanford University where he has a busy medical practice and researches novel health technologies.  He has advised and co-founded several digital health and medical device startups and has several patents issued and pending.  Dr. Lin completed Fellowships at Stanford in Biodesign and Cardiovascular Research and his Internal Medicine Residency and MD degrees at Tufts University.Prior to his career in medicine, he worked as a management consultant and received his undergraduate and masters degrees from MIT in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

Donald Yang

Founder & CEO, Sensilk Inc.

  Donald is the founder and CEO at Sensilk Inc., which is a smart sports apparel company focused on helping people take ownership of their fitness.
