Prior to founding The Westly Group, Steve Westly served as the Controller and Chief Fiscal Officer of the state of California - the world's eighth largest economy. During his four-year term, Mr. Westly spearheaded tax programs that helped close the State's budget deficit and also led an effort to commit more than $1 billion to clean technology investments. In the 2008 election cycle Mr. Westly served as a state co-chair and a National Finance Committee member of the Obama for America campaign.
Edward is the Founder and President of Mission Motors, manufacturer of the world's fastest production electric motorcycles. Mission Motors began as Edward’s Capstone project during his final semester at Presidio. In addition to his work with Mission Motors, Edward consults with start-up founders and speaks on the process of creating businesses. His background consists of engineering, and designing complex robotic systems and consumer products.
Johnnie founded K2 in 2006, having had over 20 years experience in materials, R&D, product development, process development, sales & marketing, engineering design and executive management. He gained expertise through various technical and management positions at JR Simplot Company, Vista Chemical Company, Engelhard Corporation and Valence Technology. Vish serves as an advisor to Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurship at College of Business, San Jose State University.

Courtney was previously an analyst at Draper Fisher Jurvetson where she focused on clean technology and China-related investments. Prior to joining DFJ, Courtney worked as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley in Beijing and China.

She is currently Founder/Managing Director of a consulting firm ClaireSays Inc. that provides marketing, business/community development, product marketing and launch, social media strategy and PR/AR services.Claire most recently served as a Chief Community Officer at an early stage internet start-up in SF.
Christine Lu is the founder of The China Business Network and Cilantro Media, as well as the organizer of the Geeks on a Plane. By meeting face-to-face without the direct goal of market entry provides a neutral environment on even ground and helps people understand each other’s cultures better.
